Elliot Freilich z"l Alumni Hockey Fund
Elliot Freilich '92 and hockey are synonymous. Anyone who knew him, knew this, and loved it about Elliot. As a teenager, he was the captain of the Ramaz floor hockey team, and as a father, he co-founded the Ramaz ice hockey team. From the moment his children could walk, Elliot made sure they had a stick in their hand, and soon after ice skates on their feet.
His passion was not just about the game. Above all else, it was about living a life that embodies the traits of a great sportsman. Putting the team ahead of the individual, staying fit and strong, learning a skill that would last forever, and having the discipline to stay committed. This is how we want to remember Elliot Freilich.
The Elliot Freilich z"l Alumni Hockey Fund will support an Annual Ramaz Alumni Hockey Game honoring Elliot’s memory and bringing together Ramaz alumni hockey players.
Additionally, the fund will support the Ramaz Hockey program including costs for uniforms, equipment, referees, travel expenses to and from games and more.
All gifts to the Elliot Freilich z"l Alumni Hockey Fund will be recognized in a program at the Alumni Hockey Game and in the Ramaz Impact Report.
