Dining

Butter Beans Kitchen is honored to serve the Ramaz community by providing fresh, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared kosher meals that nourish students throughout the school day.

Working closely with school leadership, we develop menus exclusively for Ramaz that reflect seasonal ingredients, student feedback, Jewish holidays, and special school traditions. Our culinary team is committed to offering balanced meals made with high-quality ingredients, ensuring every dining experience supports student wellness, fosters community, and enhances campus life.

Food Allergy Policy / Outside Food Policy

With a number of students in our middle school navigating severe, potentially life threatening food allergies, we need your partnership in helping ensure a safe learning environment for all. The Ramaz Middle School building is peanut, tree nut (including coconut), and sesame aware; this means students are not allowed to bring in snacks or other foods containing those ingredi ents. Students MAY BRING healthy foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables for snack and other healthy packaged alternatives. Items such as soursticks, gushers and other candies should not be sent. Due to food allergies, students may not share snacks with friends without first showing them to a teacher or advisor. Ramaz faculty will only allow food items to be shared when the item is in its original, unopened package. If you have a medical concern you should reach out to your health office.
