Students Roam Through Westsider Bookstore!

This past Friday, September 16, was the first book browsing outing of the school year! Last year, Dr. Aaron Tugendhaft began holding occasional trips to different bookstores in the city so that students could browse. Last week students walked across the park and visited Westsider Books on Broadway between 80th and 81st streets, a wonderfully intimate used bookstore that's been a feature of the Upper West Side for almost forty years. Nine students (from Freshmen to Seniors) joined Dr. Tugendhaft and English teacher Ms. Susannah Wolfe for over an hour of browsing, discussing, and buying books.
