Students and Staff Learn about Writing Fiction at the 92nd Street Y
Ramaz News

“No perfection is interesting,” “Disorientation is the duty of fiction,” and “A writer’s life is a years long process of forgetting what we think we know.” These were some of the insights that Ramaz students and staff gained from renowned writers Elizabeth McCracken, Paul Lisicky, and Yiyun Li at the 92nd Street Y, in the US library’s latest cultural outing. The event was held in honor of the publication of McCracken’s latest book, A Long Game: Notes on Writing Fiction, now also available for checkout at the US library. US Librarian Dr. Daniel Stein Kokin looks forward to an ongoing partnership with 92NY for future attendance by Ramaz students and staff at their events!
