Seniors Volunteer at Camp Simcha for the Daniella Moffson z"l Day of Service

Ramaz News

Seniors ended the year by participating in the Daniella Moffson z"l Day of Service! They spent it at Camp Simcha, a summer camp for children with cancer. When the students arrived, they learned about the incredible work of Camp Simcha and its parent organization Chai Lifeline. Children with cancer have fun at the camp and experience a sense of normalcy, while enjoying an environment with resources tailored to their medical needs. Ramaz students helped prepare for the summer by taking beds out from storage, putting boats in water, planting flowers, setting up picnic tables, and accomplishing other necessary tasks. Ramaz holds the Day of Service at this camp every year because Daniella Moffson ’12 z”l was a counselor there. In fact, students even visited the camp bunk named after Daniella, donated by her family in her memory.
