Rav Dov Singer Reflects with Students about Kindness and the True Essence of Prayer

World-renowned educator and author Rav Dov Singer visited the Upper School as part of Ramaz's ongoing partnership with Lifnai Vlifnim Olami. He led students in fascinating conversation: He challenged juniors to consider how they might contribute to Am Yisrael, and that opening yourself to give to others allows you to receive even more, and he discussed with seniors how the essence of prayer is the ability to step out of ourselves and appreciate the uniqueness of others. The visit ended with Dr. Wasserman and Upper School leadership talking with Rav Dov about the student advisory program aimed at helping students slow down, reflect, and connect more deeply with each other.
