Freshmen Attend NORPAC Mission to Washington, D.C.

Ariel G. '29 and Daniel A. '29 took time out of their busy schedules to attend the NORPAC Mission to Washington, D.C., with Ms. Daniels, where they walked the halls of Congress and met with senators and representatives from both sides of the political aisle. The aim was to bring attention to specific bills circulating through the House pertaining to the relationship between Israel and America, the Iran War, and domestic antisemitism, and to advocate for the support of our reps in the House and Senate. A highlight of the day was a meeting with Senator John Fetterman, who has been an unapologetic supporter of Israel. The students also heard from Senator Kristen Gillibrand, who assured them of her continued support of Israel and in the fight against antisemitism. This was truly a special experience for Ramaz students to get a firsthand look into the inner workings of government at the highest levels.
