Freshman Examine Early Talmud Manuscripts at the JTS Rare Books Room

The freshman Honors Talmud class went to the visit the rare books room at the Jewish Theological Seminary library to see manuscripts and early printings of the Talmud. Over the course of the year, the class has seen the importance of checking manuscripts and making sure to be examining the correct version of a text, and the students were excited for this opportunity to see the actual manuscripts firsthand and compare them.
