Faculty Take Each Other's Classes in "Teachers Teaching Teachers"

Ramaz News

Upper School faculty had an incredible afternoon participating in the program “Teachers Teaching Teachers”! Various educators presented lessons on chosen topics, with their fellow faculty and staff members as the students. Thank you to the teachers who taught these fascinating classes.

Attendees enjoyed the sessions of “Degenerate Art: 1937 Nazi Censorship and Jewish Mysticism” with Laura Greengold; “Joseph: Between Father and God” with Rabbi Haim Ovadia; “A Nephologic, Biblical, Israeli, Musical, Artistic, and Above All Brief Introduction to Weather” with Dr. Daniel Stein Kokin; “Aris San: the Greek Guitarist who Transformed Israeli Music” with Elie Adelman; “Saber y Sabor: Language and Cuisine as Vehicles of Culture and History in the Spanish Speaking World” with Alexandra Zohn; and “A Medieval Guide to Tanning Your Hide: Parchment, Leather, and the Science of Writing Materials (a hands-on class)” with Chayim Goldberg. Everyone is envious of Ramaz students, who have the privilege of learning from these amazing teachers every day!
