Chamber Choir Has a Packed Shabbaton Full of Performances Across Manhattan
Ramaz News
Every November, the Ramaz Chamber Choir travels around New York City for a weekend, performing at numerous schools and shuls. They had a wonderful time at this year's series! The choir started off the weekend with performances at the Ramaz Middle and Lower Schools, Park East Day School, and Luria Academy, where they performed both classic Chamber Choir songs as well as new music. After a long Friday of performing, they welcomed in Shabbat on the Upper West side at Congregation Ramath Orah and Congregation Ohab Zedek. They ended the day with an oneg, hosted by a Chamber Choir family. They had another long but exciting day on Shabbat as they performed on both the West Side, at KRA, and on the East Side, at KJ. The amazing, performance-filled weekend came to a close at the Ramaz Upper School Open House. Thank you to everyone who came to the various performances to cheer them on, the families who hosted them, and to Music Director Mr. Daniel Henkin for this amazing Shabbaton!
