Artist Alum Visits AP Art Studio

 

Rachel Farbiarz '95 returned to Ramaz on Monday, January 9 to talk about art. Rachel, a practicing artist based in Washington, DC, shared some images of her work and discussed her artistic practice with Ms. Abramson's AP Studio Art class and other interested students. She also reminisced about all the time she spent in the art room and drawing at The Met during her time at Ramaz and talked about how she made the transition from working as a lawyer to making art her primary vocation. It was a captivating talk and all present were grateful that Rachel took the time to return to her alma mater and share what she's learned.
