Welcome To The Land Of Teranga

Ramaz News

In the Middle School's exploratory prayer service, students are always learning from each other. And two recent guests expanded our horizons.

KJ's Cantor Berson spoke about how singing enhances prayer. He prompted students to participate in sharing opinions and ended the conversation by singing a psalm from Tehillim, Tov L'Hodot Lashem. Ramaz's Director of Security Mamadou Deme spoke about Senegal, his home country, as the land of Teranga, of welcoming and hospitality. Mamadou encouraged each of the students to put Teranga into practice in their own lives.

The exploratory service takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 a.m. for 6th through 8th graders. All are welcome to stop by and enter the land of Teranga.
