Students Learn about Disability and Technology with Beit Issie Shapiro and a Wounded IDF Soldier
Ramaz News

Middle School students welcomed representatives from Beit Issie Shapiro, Israel’s leading disabilities organization impacting 500,000+ people globally each year, and Didi, a wounded IDF soldier. Through Beit Issie’s Tech for Heroes program — which provides individualized technology and solutions to help wounded soldiers regain independence — Didi has rebuilt his life after a devastating injury in Gaza and months of surgeries and rehabilitation. His story of courage, resilience, and hope left a lasting impression on everyone. Students look forward to channeling their inspiration into their upcoming ADI projects, when they will use their learning in the Innovation Lab to invent technology that helps people with disabilities.
