Sixth Graders Create Their Own Versions Of The Mishkan

The students of Ms. Csillag’s sixth grade Chumash Skills class built models of the Mishkan. Some created their structures by hand while others used computer programs such as Minecraft, Fortnite, and Cospaces to design theirs. Others created poster boards and PowerPoint slideshows. The project solidified students’ knowledge of the Mishkan and helped them form a personal connection to it. The class spent hours gathering information and making sure their models were as accurate as possible. The attention to detail and added touches were truly remarkable. Kol haKavod!
