Sixth Grade Students Reflect on the D.C. Rally Through Creative Writing

 

Ramaz sixth graders have strong feelings about the war in Israel and about the recent rally in Washington, D.C., which they attended with their families or watched via livestream at school. Students in the English classes of Ms. Dodd and Ms. Hirschfield were asked to reflect on what the rally meant to them. They responded with beautiful reflections, some in prose and others in poetry, that express the depth and breadth of their reactions to the rally.
