Seventh Graders Explore The Rambam's Life At The YU Museum

Ramaz News

Rabbi Sommer and his seventh grade Gemara class traveled to the Yeshiva University Museum to observe the new exhibit on the Rambam (Maimonides). Having learned about this great chacham in class, and having studied some of his teachings, the students were fascinated to learn more about his eventful life. They were also able to examine some of his manuscripts, including those written by the Rambam himself.

The students were given a private tour by the museum's Director of Education Ilana Benson '72, who is an alumna of the Upper School and mother of two alumni. The students were grateful for her tour and appreciated seeing the Rambam's story brought to life.
