Eighth Graders Cook Snacks with the KJ Lunch & Learn

Eighth graders joined the KJ Lunch & Learn for a joyful session, cooking food together! In groups that combined the students and senior adult participants, everyone made delicious cabbage salads and pudding parfaits. Not only was the activity fun, and not only was the food yummy, but the groups got to bond across the generational divide. Students asked thoughtful questions and everyone discussed their hopes for the new year. Eighth-grade classes will take turns cooking with the KJ Lunch & Learn all year long!
