Eighth Graders Have an Amazing Shabbaton
Ramaz News

The Eighth Grade Shabbaton was a great mix of fun and meaningful moments. The group started off at Urban Air Trampoline Park, bonding and laughing as they jumped around the huge space. After pizza, they headed to the hotel to get ready for Shabbat. Shabbat itself was a truly special experience: it was the students' first Shabbaton with Ramaz, and it brought everyone much closer. They prayed together, sang, played board games, and had time to just talk and connect without distractions. It was a chance for everyone to slow down, hang out, and really get to know each other. A big highlight was a surprise visit from Israeli singer Dudu Fisher! He shared his experience starring in Les Misérables and how he stayed committed to not performing on Shabbat or holidays. His story added an inspiring element to the weekend, giving everyone something empowering to reflect on.
