A USMC Sergeant Talks Veterans Day and His Road to Torah

For Veterans Day, Middle School students were treated to a special visit by Ramaz parent Sergeant Joshua Goldberg, who is a former U.S. Marine. He spoke to the school about the Marines Corps and his experience serving in the military. He also described his journey to becoming a baal teshuvah, and how his time as one of the few Jews in the military affected this journey. Thank you to the sponsors of this year's Veterans Day programming, Abby and David Doft '89 in memory of Terry Marr.
