An MLK Day Of Service

Middle School volunteers took part in a day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They visited the Met Council, America’s largest Jewish charity dedicated to serving the needy, in midtown Manhattan. While there, they unloaded boxes of food and organized the food pantry. They also helped create Shabbat packages just in time for the weekend. Although there was minor heavy lifting and much to do, every student had a smile on their face and real ruach to do chesed.
