Touring NYC Bridges

Second graders went on field trips this past week—virtual field trips, that is. As part of their in-depth study of New York City, the students took virtual field trips to some of New York's most famous bridges. They "visited" the George Washington Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. They were fascinated by the different styles of construction and loved learning facts about how they were built. Ask these experts what they learned!
