Students Turn Torah into Art with Avraham and Sarah

In Judaic Studies, third graders have learned about the sixth trial by Avram — and how, after he successfully completed it, Hashem blessed Avram and Sarai by adding Hashem's name to theirs: granting them both the letter ה. The students lent their own creative flair to this unit, using a hands-on approach to turn this story into a multi-sensory art project. Each student depicted this special blessing by modeling clay Avraham's and Sarah's new names!
