Second Graders Visit Yeshiva University and Get Inspired

Ramaz News

Second graders took a thrilling trip uptown to Yeshiva University! They were joined by Ramaz Head of School Dr. Noam Wasserman, who used to be dean of YU's Sy Syms Business School. Not only did students hear inspiring words from Dr. Wasserman, but they even got to ask him questions of their own in a Q&A. He wasn't the only person that the students met. They visited the gymnasium and spoke with star player Zevi Samet! He talked to students about able to play ball at a high leverage while still maintaining Judaism, learning Torah, and observing the mitzvot. Motivated by the talk, they got basketballs of their own and enjoyed running and shooting around on the court. It was a wonderful visit that made students even more excited about continuing their academic and Jewish studies all through school and college.

Thank you to Tali '04 and Josh Leinwand for sponsoring this visit.
