Ramaz Reviews Books From A Variety Of Genres

Fourth graders have been learning about various book genres including realistic fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, and humor. Students ranked their top genre choices and then, based on the results, they partnered up to work on genre presentations. In the presentations, the students explained why they liked their specific genre, listed books in that genre, and then read aloud an excerpt from a book of their choice. Books read included Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Frindle, Chunky, and The Wild Robot. Hopefully the presenters inspired their classmates to explore new and exciting books as they move on to middle school!
