Lower Schoolers Paint 1,200 Red Kalaniyot for Victims of October 7

Lower Schoolers created a powerful artistic memorial to the nearly 1,200 who were murdered by Hamas last year: they painted a large canvas with 1,200 red kalaniyot (poppies). Kalaniyot are a beautiful red flower that grows in the area of the kibbutzim that were invaded. This canvas represents everyone's love for the fallen and for Eretz Yisrael, and continued hopes for the future. The canvas will hang on display at KJ through the High Holidays and October 7.
