Pictures Inside: Second Graders Help Write a Sefer Torah to be Donated to Israel

Our second graders collaborated with thousands of children worldwide to create a new Sefer Torah with Otiot Shel Ahava. Every student said a special bracha and wrote down one letter each, because like their rabbi said, every person is as unique as a letter in the Torah. This amazing book will be donated to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the sites hit hardest by October 7, 2023, helping spread the love and light from each child of Am Yisrael. To further tap into the idea that each person is as unique and special as a letter of Torah, and to celebrate their newfound scribe abilities, each child decorated a special framed page of their own Hebrew name to take home.
