Photos and Videos Inside: Grade 4 Celebrates Being "Stronger Together" at Their Zimriyah

Grade 4 celebrated their advancement to the Middle School with their families at the Zimriyah. This year, the theme was "Chazakim B'Yachad," "Stronger Together." The fourth graders sang to songs in Hebrew and English that connected to the theme, including "Baruch Hashem," by Roee and Eyal Levi, "Chazak Mashup" by Moshe Laufer, Yossi Green, and Chayale Neuhaus, "Yachad Lev El Lev" by Gili Liber, and "Keep Marching" by Shaina Taub from the Broadway musical, Suffs. Some songs, such as "Hinei Ma Tov (How Good Is It)" by Elena Aria, involved audience participation! Parents were blown away by the dance to "Sharim B'Yachad Remix" by Oshri Levi. Students waved blue ribbons to make beautiful shapes and a giant Magen David! Interspersed with the musical performances were speeches by students about the meaning of the songs, their experiences in the Lower School, their excitement for the Middle School and gratitude for their teachers. And of course, Rabbi Lookstein '49 called it "the best Zimriyah ever."
