Lower Schoolers Throw "Publishing Parties" to Celebrate Writing Personal Narratives
Ramaz News

Lower Schoolers threw class "publishing parties" to celebrate creating their very own books! The children have spent weeks learning about the storytelling, from analyzing the craft to examining their own memories for emotionally impactful moments. Students discussed losing their first teeth, celebrating birthdays, and enjoying activities with their families. For example, some students wrote about the magic of visiting Israel! All the stories were turned into "books," complete with illustrations created by their authors. They practiced their reading and public speaking skills by reading the stories out loud to their classmates. Everyone loved telling their stories and receiving accolades from their peers and teachers. Kol hakavod to these brilliant new authors!
