Lower Schoolers Present Gifts to Local Firefighters

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, ECC and Lower School students took a trip after school to show their appreciation for local firefighters. They walked to their neighborhood station, FDNY Engine 22/Ladder 13/Battalion 10, bringing platters of sandwiches and handmade cards and posters to express gratitude for these brave volunteers. The firefighters were so touched to receive these gifts and it was a true bonding moment as they read the cards and spoke with the students. They even returned the favor and gave the children a private tour of their fire engines!
