Lower Schoolers Observe Shavuot with Creativity, Learning, and Fun
Ramaz News

Lower Schoolers prepared for Shavuot in a variety of fun and educational ways! For example, second graders put on a Hebrew-language skit called "ריב ההרים"—"the quarrel of the mountains"—in which the mountains debated which one would be selected by Hashem for the giving of the Torah. (Spoiler alert: Hashem selected the humblest mountain, Har Sinai!) First graders observed the tradition of eating dairy desserts by making their own dessert cups! They used their creativity to assemble whipped cream and whatever toppings they wanted, electing from an array of strawberries, sprinkles, crushed cookies, and more. What great ways to tap into the joy and excitement of the holiday!
