Lower Schoolers Have a Multisensory Chanukah Extravaganza
Ramaz News
The Lower School had a Chanukah schedule packed with a wide range of fun activities. From menorah-themed relay racing to Chanukah bingo to baking delicious cookies, they engaged all their senses and practiced their collaboration skills. They even competed in a schoolwide karaoke competition, with each class practicing and performing a choreographed song. First and second grades performed Debbie Friedman's "The Latke Song," and third and fourth grades performed Six13's "Chanukah (Shake It Off)." To top it off, the students attended a glow-in-the-dark dance party with DJ Bubbles! They waved waved rainbow LED foam sticks and danced to music as neon bubbles filled the auditorium. What a perfect way to get into the spirit for the Festival of Lights!
The DJ Bubbles visit was sponsored by Debbie Kestenbaum Feingertz and Paul Feingertz.
