Lower Schoolers Enjoy Fun in the Sun at Randall's Island
Ramaz News

May is an exciting time in the Physical Education Department, and one of the most anticipated events is Lag B’Omer, a day our students look forward to all year! In the weeks leading up to the celebration, students got ready by learning and practicing the wide variety of games and activities they would enjoy. From home-run derby and soccer to lawn games and gymnastics, there was something fun for everyone.
Lag Ba'Omer itself was a fantastic celebration of physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit. Lower Schoolers went out to Randall's Island for a field day, where they participated in tons of fun outdoor activities with their friends and teachers, including gymnastics, soccer, football, KanJam, volleyball, gaga, and more! After a long morning of sports, they enjoyed an outdoor pizza picnic lunch. It was a joy to see our Lower School students so engaged and energized, and our staff had just as much fun joining in!
Lag B’Omer continues to be a wonderful tradition that brings our school community together through movement and play. Thank you to the anonymous donors for sponsoring the Lower School Lag B’Omer trip to Randall’s Island.
