Fourth Graders Hold a Chidon Competition
Ramaz News

Fourth graders truly showed their passion for Torah when they held their Chidon competition! Modeled after the International Chidon HaTanach competition in Israel, the fourth-grade Chidon featured 12 determined students who studied topics in Jewish observance and Sefer Bereshit. Their classmates cheered them on while the brave competitors answered tough questions from special guests, including Rabbi Haskel Lookstein '49, students from the Upper School, their teachers from previous years, and last year’s Fourth-Grade Chidon winner. Most importantly, the students supported each other, celebrating their peers' successes even when it meant being surpassed by a competitor. Kol hakavod to everyone who participated and mazal tov to the three winners: third-place winner Lindsay D., second-place winner Janette H., and first-place winner Leo K.
