Fourth Graders Combine Kindness and Design Thinking for a Creative Engineering Project

Ramaz News

Fourth graders had a fun and multidisciplinary lesson in their Judaic Studies class. The students combined their Character Strong trait of the month, kindness, with a special Design Thinking project! They interviewed each other to learn about each other’s wishes and unique personalities. Based on what they learned, they each created a craft tailored to their partner’s interests! For example, students used art supplies to create a basketball hoop and ball, while other students created adorable dogs out of paper and ribbon. What a wonderful way to combine engineering skills and creativity with respect, empathy, and teamwork.
