First Graders Use Multiple Art Techniques to Reflect Their Research on Community Workers

First graders are working on a collaborative project that aligns with their General Studies unit on community workers! Students are working in groups to create a mixed-media poster that represents the respective community worker that each group is focusing on. The class will review drawing, painting, and collage making for these large artworks. The students' finished pieces will be displayed in their community worker presentations for all first-grade families to see!
