First Graders Show Off Their "Inch"-credible Measurement Skills

First graders have truly enjoyed their lesson on measurement. They learned about how inches are a standard unit of measurement, which helps to measure objects accurately. They applied those skills by using their own rulers to measure the lengths of different objects around the classroom, such as folders, pencils, and erasers. Students were also able to compare the lengths of those objects with each other, and then got to measure different objects of their choice. The students had fun measuring their shoes, fingers, and their favorite books. They can't wait to become measurement experts soon!
