First Graders Learn How to Be Global Citizens and Practice Helping Their Community
Ramaz News

First graders explored what it means to be a global citizen through several inspiring read-alouds, including the book Say Something! by Peter H. Reynolds. The students learned that global citizens respect people and take care of our shared world. After reading, students brainstormed a list of simple ways their words and actions can make a positive impact in the community. To bring their learning to life, each student completed a speech bubble project sharing their own message, empowering them to use their voices to make the world a better place!
