First Grade Goes "Behind The Scenes" With Ramaz Staff

 

First grade students have been going "behind the scenes" with Ramaz's extraordinary staff members Ms. Veronica Gelos (maintenance), Mr. Mamadou Deme (security), Ms. Julie Thwaites (office operations), and Ms. Giada Cavalieri (food services). The goal of this design thinking project is to honor the many roles, different perspectives, and extensive scopes of the individuals who form the Lower School community. To achieve this, the students have conducted interviews with each of the individuals to learn more about their day-to-day responsibilities. They also asked questions about what they love to do when they are not at work. Afterwards, the students worked collaboratively in the Innovation Lab to design customized gifts for each staff member!
