Our Classroom Caterpillars

Nursery Varod was thrilled to welcome caterpillars into our classroom! Our students have been tracking the day-to-day progress of the caterpillar and observing their changes. They made predictions about how long it will take until the caterpillars form their chrysalis and then emerge as butterflies, with the predictions ranging from one day to one year! The students have also been busy in the Art Center as they used their creativity to make their own caterpillars. They used a myriad of art materials, including egg cartons, model magic, pipe cleaners, cotton balls and beads.
