Kindergarten Violinists Perform for their Classmates and Families

Kindergarteners and their families were treated to a special end-of-year recital by students in the violin program. Throughout the year, kindergarten students who opted into the program have been learning the fundamentals of violin with Mr. Lamas using the Suzuki method. They practiced their fine motor and social skills as they learned to play in the instrument in groups. Students played four songs on and off of the violin: Up Like a Rocket, by The Suzuki Method, Alligator Snap Snap by Helen Butterworth, Panda Song by Barbara Barber and Daniel Lamas, and Allegro by Shinichi Suzuki. The audience was blown away by the talent of these little maestros!
