Kindergarten Has an Apple Picking Adventure for Rosh Hashanah

Ramaz News

There was excitement in the air as kindergarten students boarded buses bound for Dr. Davies Farm to go apple picking! Once at the farm, the children were thrilled to go on a hayride, which brought them to the apple trees. Everyone learned about the many different varieties of apples and noted how they are all different colors and sizes. The students had an amazing time as they carefully selected apples to pick off the trees and filled up their bags. The trip ended with a delicious picnic lunch, which of course included apples! When the children arrived back at Ramaz, they shared that they were so excited to bring the apples home to share with their families for Rosh Hashanah. This trip was even used as a prompt for a writing activity that kindergarteners participated in when they returned. A great time was had by all!

Kindergarten Apple Picking was sponsored by Leon and Renee Adams in honor of their kindergarten grandchildren, Renee, Mindy, and Leon.
