ECC Gardeners Examine Parshat Vayikra and How Tiny Objects Can Have a Big Impact
Ramaz News

Students learned about Parshat Vayikra through their multisensory exploration of the garden. With Farmer Spence '09, they discussed the importance of salt in the Mishkan and Beit Hamikdash. They talked about the potential and use of something as small as salt, even carrying messages from our brains to our bodies. Classes explored the same concept through many different seeds. So many of them were small and had unique characteristics! Students examined seeds for beets, Swiss chard, lettuce, peas, carrots, and kale. Be’ezrat Hashem, they will plant more of these seeds as the warm weather returns!
