Young Alumni Commemorate Yom HaZikaron 5785

In honor of Yom HaZikaron, the Ramaz Young Alumni community (classes '08-'24) gathered for a night of chesed and commemoration. After prayers led by their former Ramaz teachers, alumna Rachie Shnay '08 spoke about her deep connection to Israel and activism as a grandchild of Holocaust survivors. James Goldberg '13 and Sam Fried '15 shared stories about their IDF service and the memories of the fallen who have touched their lives. Afterward, alumni assembled care packages and wrote notes of gratitude for soldiers in rehabilitation that are visiting Ramaz next week.
