News From Ramaz
There are four questions in the Haggadah, but the children in the ECC had many more than four questions after learning the story of Pesach. The kindergarten children had so many questions, and they wanted some answers. They emailed Rabbi Weinstock to see if he could shed light on some of the more difficult questions. Rabbi Weinstock then came to the classes to answer those questions in person. Some of our questions were: "How did Pharoah know the Jews were Jewish?" "Why is Matzah called Matzah?" "Did Hashem save Batya, because she saved Moshe?" These thoughtful questions and answers will be added to our Haggadot. They will inspire us to continue to ask questions at the Seder.
