News From Ramaz
This week in advisory we welcomed back Kids Financial Literacy to teach the 7th and 8th grade students about money. Kids Financial Literacy is a nonprofit organization designed to educate children about fundamental financial skills and responsibility. The interactive program uses engaging multidimensional presentations and activity books. The students asked some amazing, thought provoking questions throughout the program!
The 7th grade learned about banking and credit cards. They discussed the differences between credit cards and debit cards and explored the intricacies of a credit card bill, credit scores, interest and mortgages.
The 8th grade learned about saving and investing. They spoke about the importance of saving money and various forms of investments including real estate, the stock market, and cryptocurrency.
To further the financial education at home, please be on the lookout in your inbox for the Kids Financial Literacy Newsletters that contain fun family activities, suggested reading, and more.
We would like to thank the following for sponsoring the program -- Jimmy Haber in loving memory of his wife Amy Haber z"l, BHI, and Jack Ezon and Sion Betesh of Blue Star Clothing Company & Silver One International.
