News From Ramaz
The Upper School was honored to host doctorate candidates this week. Dr. Moshe Sokolow, Associate Dean, Fanya Gottesfeld-Heller Professor, at Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education & Administration, summed up the visit.
"Twenty students at Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration spent a day at the Ramaz Upper School experiencing the quality of instruction and learning in both Judaic and general studies. These students are enrolled in an executive doctoral program in preparation for assuming administrative positions in American day schools and are currently concentrating their studies on learning and cognition and instructional leadership, which they found to meet the highest professional standards at Ramaz. They are grateful to Mr. Jonathan Cannon, Rabbi Shlomo Stochel, Rabbi Kenny Schiowitz, departmental chairs, faculty, and students for their hospitality and insights."
