Hour of Code at the Lower School - Computer Science Education Week!

The coding universe was once again taken by storm by the Hour of Code, a worldwide event where hundreds of millions of students around the world, dedicated themselves to trying new activities in Computer Science. As in years past, the Lower School participated in code.org's Computer Science Education Week. Students in grades 2-4, tried new coding games and puzzles designed by the biggest names in computer science education. Minecraft, Illumination, and Scratch, were some of the companies that designed new coding opportunities that are challenging and fun for our tech-savvy students. They each received a certificate, which marks their accomplishments. The portal is free and open to all.
