New beginnings can be a bit frightening at first, often fraught with anticipation and fear of the unknown. However, here at the Ramaz Lower School, teachers and administrators channeled that energy into some amazing first few days of school! As soon as school started, Ms. Kessler and Mr. Silvestri introduced themselves to students and reviewed school rules through fun live action skits! Ms. Kessler helped show Mr. Silvestri how to walk around school, speak respectfully, and clean up after himself in the lunchroom. Mr. Silvestri needed some extra help getting the rules down, but he got the hang of it!

The week continued with the 3rd graders enjoying a Shofar Factory class where they learned which animal horns could be used for the Shofar -- and each class even got to make their own class shofar! Fourth graders met with Mr. Silvestri to discuss their roles as leaders in the school and how much of an impact they can have on their younger peers.

Be on the lookout for more exciting school activities coming out of Mr. S's office. Feel free to stop by any time to introduce yourself and grab a candy!
