The Ramaz community shares an obligation to make sure every child receives a exceptional Jewish education. As a Ramaz graduate you can continue an important tradition to help future generations of students.
By making a gift to Ramaz you have the opportunity to demonstrate that you believe in Ramaz and our commitment to Torah, Ahavat Yisroel, the pursuit of knowledge, and a sense of responsibility for the Jewish people and all humankind.
Every gift counts and makes a difference. No matter what the amount, you can be certain your gift will have a direct impact on our students this year.
Ramaz Alumni Appeal
Your gift to the Ramaz Alumni Appeal supports the annual campaign and operating budget of the school, meeting the academic needs of our entire student body.
If you want to make a donation to a specific fund or cause, please consider directing your support to one of these key areas:
At the core of the Ramaz mission is a focus on Ahavat Yisrael, a love and support for the State of Israel. When you support Ahavat Yisrael, you support important initiatives such as Ivrit B’Ivrit curriculum, student publications in Hebrew, Israel themed celebrations, and Israel focused programming such as Yom Ha’Atzmaut and the Celebrate Israel Parade.
At Ramaz, we encourage creativity, original expression, and free thinking inside and outside the classroom by including the Arts as a core of our curriculum and co-curricular programming. By making a gift to the Arts at Ramaz, you support artistic and cultural experiences like visits to museums and art festivals, school musicals, plays, chorus trips, visits with professional performers, and the renowned Celebration of the Arts festival.
The Ramaz Rams are proud members of the Yeshivah Athletic League, play exhibition games both in and out of the yeshivah day school community, participate in tournaments for tzedakah, and compete against Ramaz Alumni in basketball and hockey tournaments each year. Your donation supports athletics across all divisions at Ramaz, including our Middle School and Upper School Rams, JV and Varsity teams, Basketball, Hockey, Volleyball, Softball, and so many more athletic activities for all our students. Let’s Go Rams! #RamPride
We are proud that from the Early Childhood Center through the Upper School, our entire school community participates in worthy causes that exemplify being a mensch. When you support Chesed at Ramaz, you support ongoing student-driven opportunities such as book, toy, and eyeglass collection drives, disaster relief, packages for IDF soldiers, habitat for humanity projects, visits to the sick, and Chesed missions locally, and around the world.
Ramaz is focused on deepening our students' commitment to their Jewish heritage and identity, cultivating a commitment to learning Torah and to inspiring the informed observance of mitzvot. Your donation to Jewish Life at Ramaz supports Siddur and Chumash celebrations, Lower School Oneg, Sephardic and Ashkenaz Minyanim, Zimriah, Upper School Shabbatonim, Torah Journals, weekly Parsha emails, visits to the Museum of Jewish Heritage, special programming on Yom HaShoah, Yom Hazikaron, and Yom Haatzmaut, and the Grade 8 Israel Trip and Grade 12 Poland-Israel Trip, Senior Journey.
Our students’ education is marked by our incredible academic programs within the classroom, but also by the special programming they experience and participate in around national holidays, Israeli holidays, and days of remembrance. By making a gift to Special Programming, you ensure these impactful moments in our children’s education, including on 9/11, Veterans' Day, Kristallnacht, Yom HaShoah, Yom Hazikaron, Yom Ha’atzmaut, Lag B'Omer, and Yom Yerushalayim.
The journey through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics at Ramaz begins as early as Nursery. When you support STEAM programs, you help fund a full scope of laboratory science discipline, the annual day of coding, and the new Upper School "RamTec" department encompassing computer skills, coding, engineering, entrepreneurship and more.
Ramaz continues to provide an exceptional and immersive education to our students regardless of need, and maintains a “needs blind” admission process that allows us to accept students based on academic ability. Last year our community raised $6.4 million to provide 260 students on aid with a full Ramaz education. With your help, we can ensure the continued support for our students and families.
Ramaz trips are mission-based and bring core components of the classroom to real-world experience, including art, history, nature, and Jewish life. Your gift will ensure every Ramaz student can participate in class trips, including museum visits, Chesed missions, shabbatonim, chorus trips, many more.
