Pictures Inside: Upper Schoolers Provide a Feast for the Senses at the Annual Celebration of the Arts

The Upper School community had an incredible Celebration of the Arts! This beautiful evening showcases the hard work of all our student artists. This year's theme was "Feast" and it was truly a feast for the senses. As the student hosts told attendees, if art were food, the event would be an all-you-can-eat buffet! When guests arrived, they were treated to a gallery full of student visual art, including painting and sketches, 3D-designed Judaica, and photography. They even watched creations by the film students: the trailer of the upcoming documentary they will make about their trip to Poland, videos of each student analyzing his or her favorite movie scenes, and more. After touring the gallery, and chatting with the artists about their work, everyone settled in for a concert spanning all performing arts disciplines. Students wowed the crowd with ballet, original poetry readings, instrumental playing, and singing. The audience was so impressed and proud of everyone for their hard work and their bravery, and the students loved getting to share their art with the community.
